[1: 1,199 of 10,000] Be Gentle But Be Honest

In Aphorism on November 5, 2013 at 12:14 AM

Be gentle but be honest.

Never let your politeness comes to the way of not expressing what needs to be improved and what reality should be known. This mistake has been proven to situations when people go for American Idol audition believing they are good because no one in their group have been honest enough to tell the truth that it’s about that they are a great singer but they simply can’t even sing in the first place.

Being blind of not being critical is also falling into mediocrity. Do you really think a Ferrari car gained so much prestige because it accepts it’s fine; it didn’t stop until it was great.

It is a lot of pressure that I put myself into, I have been criticised of overdoing things, making things too perfect, that I am no longer efficient; but if I got to be honest, I’d rather die leaving a job well done to just have ticked the task as okay. It’s never okay until it’s great!
