A nickname that isn’t agreed by a receiver is just a common bullying on the part of the giver.

  1. In German my name can be either Uta or Ute. Most people in Germany call me “Ute”, but I don’t like to be called this in Australia for ute (‘utility’) stands for a certain type of car open in the back to load goods on.

    • Makes sense Aunty Uta. The entire context counts.

I am being called of something and I don’t really feel that it is endearment but a mockery. So on good days I just ignore it but on bad days I just flipped and fight back. 😀
