Day 11: Becoming best friends with God

We can absolutely approach God anytime because of God’s grace and the sacrifice of Jesus that restored our intimate connection with God.

I do talk to God as much as I can in a day and below is a sample. I also want to be best friends with God because He can give me the peace that I aim for.

Morning. The moment I wake up, I think “Good morning God” then I sit to say my prayer. First, to be used as a vessel of God in order to serve and love for the day. Second, when I am too stressed out at work, I seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to give me wisdom in order to complete my task smoothly. Third, I am grateful for this beautiful day where I can see the world lit up out of my apartment. I am also grateful that I have another chance to do my best.

Throughout the day. I breathe when I feel overwhelmed and utter make me strong God to learn the lesson for today. I feel optimistic to feed myself with good lessons like right now I listen to Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations podcast (I love every interview!). When I was at the mall today, I consciously recognized that each human has God in it and it made me feel lighter and loving. When I look at our two beautiful houseplants that are marvelously growing, I smile and am grateful to God, these plants made me feel grounded.

Evening. I prepare this blog and reflect on the chapter of the day. I read the chapter for tomorrow in order to have time to contemplate and absorb the holy bits. Before I go to bed, I sit and pray again. First, I am grateful that I am on my bed about to take a rest. Second, I offer all my worries and seek forgiveness of the things that I have not done with integrity. Third, I pray for good rest to have the right energy when I wake up again the next day.
