WOEAIHF is Rick Warren’s “What On Earth Am I Here For?” book.

Day 32: Using what God gave you

God deserves our best. What we do with ourselves is our gift to God. We have to discover our shape, learn to accept and enjoy it, and then develop it to its fullest potential.

In my 20s, I do recognize the power of doing new things for the first time. I know that in my mind I may have a preconceived bias for something that I have never tried. Like I never knew I did like Macadamia nut with a cookie, I also avoided it and have counted on the satisfaction of eating chocolate chip cookie. I would have not discovered enjoying blogging if I have not signed up. It is right though that when trying new things to leave the assumed results out and open mind in.

John Bunyan said, “If my life is fruitless, it doesn’t matter who praises me, and if my life is fruitful, it doesn’t matter who criticizes me.”

Aside from not going into the trap of envy and comparison with others, there is really no point of doing it because we are all unique that can give something to the world that only each can give… I have to remember to exercise my muscles because if I don’t use my abilities and skills God has given, He can easily take them away.

We’re getting ready for eternal responsibilities and rewards.
