[1: 1,896 of 10,000] This Moment

In Poem on September 21, 2017 at 11:55 AM

This moment is the most important
The moment that I catch myself breathing
Letting the air in
Letting my air out

What goes on in my head is not necessarily the truth
What I feel do not represent my conviction
What I have and don’t have do not represent me
Who I am is pure

[1: 1,893 of 10,000] What Do We Really Own?

In Poem on September 3, 2017 at 4:52 PM

What do we really own?
Is it anything material?
Is it anything intangible?

Is it the word that we speak?
Is it the deed that we do?
Is it the imagination that we think?

Even our own life is not our own
We return it
But to whom?

Realistically speaking we have basic needs
Beyond that we can choose to leave a legacy
In the end what we truly own is to live our truth

Our truth is when we do what we love
When we live in the present
When we know how to surrender

Surrendering after giving our best
After giving our all
It doesn’t matter what we own

[1: 1,885 of 10,000] There Are People

In Poem on June 25, 2017 at 3:50 AM

There are people who are alone
There are people who are attached
There are people who have lost both parents
There are people who got stepparents

There are people who knew love
There are people who felt love
There are people who abandoned love
There are people who could not recognize love

There are people who I want to be
There are people who wanted to be me
There are people who see the world as it is
There are people who see the soul of the world

There are people
There are people
There are people
There are people

[1: 1,858 of 10,000] The Illusion of Time

In Poem on January 11, 2017 at 10:44 PM

Time.jpg

Don’t get fooled

I can create time

There is always time for the things that I want

Excuses for the one I don’t

This moment is the one that truly counts

NOW

Right this moment

With my heart beating

Living peace

[1: 1,828 of 10,000] Don’t Be Scared

In Poem on December 3, 2016 at 8:15 PM

panic

Don’t be scared of the future
Don’t worry about the unknown
Look instead to what’s in front of you

Do great job
Add it to your daily grind
The reward will come

Love yourself
Breathe
Relax

[1: 1,817 of 10,000] The Silence of Wee Hours

In Poem on November 28, 2016 at 1:02 AM

diving with Cat & Dirk 084.jpg

I like the silence of the wee hours
When all I could hear is my thoughts
More sensitive on how my heart beats
A little scared of where my feeling goes

I teach myself to do deep breaths
Maybe in those airs my anxiety fades
To find a balance in my thoughts
Have a grip for my sanity’s sake

Oh how I love the silence
I adore it with a price
Losing a sleep once again
If this will keep my spirit high

[1: 1,789 of 10,000] Rule Your Self

In Poem on November 1, 2016 at 12:00 AM

the-crown

If there is one responsibility a man has in his life
It is first and foremost to rule himself

Rule how he let his mind floats
With control, peace, and then act with good intention

Why he be weary for the sufferings surrounding him
Let it be that he does what he loves shines through instead

It is when he fulfills what he came for to do
That his life’s will meant achieved

To only dwell on the sufferings without actions are useless
Then waste not on fantasies but endure to keep soldiering on

If his destiny is to rule people
Then a ruled mind could guide the whole nation

In Poem on July 21, 2016 at 11:59 PM

Sunflower

We

belong

to

one

another.

I

may

learn

to

shy

away;

but

it

will

not

stop

me

from

feeling

I

belong

with

you.

[1: 1,740 of 10,000] Just When You Think You’ve Figured It Out

In Poem on July 1, 2016 at 7:00 PM

Garden

Just when I thought I got it all figured out
I am back to one

I was playing the cello beautifully
Then I was in pain and need to be operated

I went into business and become successful
Then the market crashed that I have to give it up

I fell in love, got married, had children
In a blink of an eye they died in a horrific accident

Just when I thought I got it all figured out
I am back to me, alone

It is up to me to stand up, stride again
My contribution to the world, is it worth it?

24 hours, same time for you and me
We have our way of using it

What is your plan tomorrow?
Me, one of it is to create again, I hope you too.

[1: 1,738 of 10,000] Who Is Right?

In Poem on June 30, 2016 at 12:00 AM

Bobbi

Bobbi Gibb, first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1966, running without a number because women were not allowed into the race. The police ran after her and tried to arrest her. Women were not considered strong enough to run the marathon.

Who is right?
Is it really important to be right all the time?
Or be kind
Gentle
Forgiving

Admit fault
Doubt the obvious
Explore a new possibility
Fresh answer
Awakening

A fight
A debate
A meeting of minds
Opposite thoughts
A discovery or an invention

To care
To let go
To let it be
To hope
To believe
