[1: 1,838 of 10,000] My Bali Trip

In Article on December 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM

Given a chance, I would prefer to live in a place that won’t make me sweat. Dubai may be hot but since all establishments are equipped with air conditioning unit, I am perfectly comfortable to live here and have been for more than 8 years.

Last June of 2016, I was in Bali for 3 days to celebrate my 36th birthday. It was a refreshing break from work despite the long flight.

Weirdly enough, I fall in love with Bali. I was sweating like a pig but I am enjoying myself. I’m not sure if it’s because of my birthday, or I was just happy to be away from work, or for the simple reasons that I have tried so many new things!

I’ve seen so much monkeys roaming around in a temple up close and left the temple unharmed. Oh those monkeys are ruthless if you’re a designated target. I saw shades and a single slippers in the surrounding meaning they’ve been stolen from a human being. My tourist guide walked ahead with a stick, just for protection.

I rode an elephant that could play the harmonica. I soaked my feet in an aquarium filled with tiny fish devouring my dead skin that made me feel petrified for the whole ordeal. I found wonderful shops to buy clothes. But most of all, the beach waves was majestic and soothing.

I recommend, go travel and have new experience. It will light up your life and cut through the boredom. It will give you a new taste of inspiration that will equip you with your life’s journey.

Travel

From Dubai, there’s a stop over in Doha, before landing to my final destination Bali. In each city, there were different time zones. It amazes me that time becomes fluid or kind of magical.

Travel dear ones, so your soul gets awakened. You will cherish life with new discoveries out of sights, smells, and tastes. Meet new possibilities, try things you’ve never dared before, but most of all be open to appreciate what are beautiful in the journey. #Relax

I’ve been to Paris, Munich, Berlin, Salzburg, Hong Kong, Alexandria, Cairo, Sharm el-sheikh, Amman, Muscat, Buraimi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Manila, Davao, Ilagan, Cauayan, Santiago, Quezon, Tagaytay, Laguna, Marikina, Pasig, Caloocan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tuguegarao, Iloilo, Mandaluyong, but I truly fell in love to Bali.

[1: 1,711 of 10,000] I’m Getting More Courageous

In Journal on June 3, 2016 at 12:02 PM

I have been very afraid, unsure of my capabilities, and neglected loving first myself. It was an exercise that I have to make sure I learn, to be more courageous, to trust myself, and love me like no other human has ever did (and really now most love for me should come from me).

Still admiring the beautiful Bali beach, before I finally pack, and head back home to Dubai. The water has its own life, it sings and dances, and it doesn’t care about the human but human get flexible for its strength, beauty, and fickle emotions.

May I be like the sea for its glorious vastness of beauty, it is true to itself without a care in the world, but we human as the assigned caretaker need to ensure that it is safe because just for its very existence, it can gives us an energy beyond words, it soothes our souls for its authenticity.
