[1: 983 of 10,000] I Am Writing Short Blog Posts

In Article on April 7, 2013 at 12:00 AM

600-00983734I love writing short blog posts because it is tiring to make a long one (just being honest here because I don’t have the time for in depth research all the time). Also, I myself usually felt dragged if I see an ultimate long post to finish and absorb.

I keep my entries short and on the dot, I don’t go around about the topic and just make sure I put the essential in one quick article that is easy to grasp and relate to.

Keep it short in delivering a message. I also find it more rewarding to see a short post that got it all and no longer require blings just to fill a space but could still successfully elicits the goal of the writer.

[1: 972 of 10,000] Let Me Recheck Why Do I Still Blog Today?

In Journal on March 27, 2013 at 12:00 AM

Top 3

Third: I am hoping that as brilliant as Scott Berkun I will later publish a book out of this 10,000 blog posts challenge that I put myself into. At that time, will I finally reveal my real name? Should I? Will I?

Second: In my honest effort, I am hoping I spark an inspiration to my readers even if they are not the frequent blog visitors. I hope I bring amusement with my quirky thoughts.

First: I wanted an outlet to voice out the many words and feelings out of me. I am equally curious if my true thoughts and feelings elicit a like from a stranger. I am still on the process of perfecting my writing craft so writing/blogging is the best exercise.

[1: 849 of 10,000] Wow, 2 Years & Still Counting!

In Journal on November 29, 2012 at 12:01 PM

I saw a new icon that is not very familiar – it was a very cute trophy.

When I open the notification, I blurted oh yeah, today is It Takes 10K’s 2nd Anniversary!

It’s a good surprise and I wasn’t ready for my cake but I guess the best way to celebrate is to make a blog. ♥

2 years and definitely still counting! 🙂

[1: 764 of 10,000] Stay

In Poem on September 17, 2012 at 8:33 PM

You make me nervous
The good kind though

You gives me stress
To keep you in my sight

This is childish silly
But I keep it linger

Until when? I don’t know
Maybe a bit longer than forever

[1: 742 of 10,000] Why My Written Blog Topic Ideas Don’t Really Work and Get Used?

In Article on August 31, 2012 at 3:52 PM

I’ve written 4 topics that I wanted to blog about but when I face my laptop and supposedly start typing ideas on a blank space I lost the appetite. It is that same reason why I would oblige to my muse and stay up late and write to give in to my inspired thoughts so it’ll get published. When I am in love with the idea, I could finish it in a snap otherwise it’ll take me forever and my lappy would be tired waiting for me, it’ll go to sleep, then I will literally go to sleep.

If I push the topic to get pursued, my voice doesn’t seem natural and I don’t feel really happy and the blog post that I made would end up to my uninspired ones.

[1: 713 of 10,000] I’m In Love With Google Chrome

In Review on August 11, 2012 at 7:28 PM

I was using Mozilla Firefox and certain annoying ads made me nervous that my blog was invaded by an unwanted visitor but when I started using Google Chrome I was relieved that my blog was protected and free from crazy ads.

I am falling in love with Google Chrome. ♥

[1: 700 of 10,000] Boohoo WordPress Ads

In Review on July 29, 2012 at 7:28 PM

My biggest fear arrived, WordPress adorned my blog with dangling advertisements. It makes me sad but it is a reality that I have to face if I am keeping it for more than a year FREE.

I will seriously consider getting the No Ads Upgrade soon, costing me $30 per year. I pity my blog for losing its personality for getting drowned by crazy ads that has nothing to do with what I sincerely love in life. I felt like I am in a noisy market (I never like going to a crowded place) and I am starting to be annoyed and irritated. I wanted a clean blog, is that too much to ask?

I’m putting No Ads Upgrade in my To Do List. It’s the best way to show I care for It Takes 10K and to support WordPress too.

[1: 552 of 10,000] What my blog’s likers, commenters, and subscribers revealed about me?

In Journal on February 20, 2012 at 10:10 AM

I have different visitors in my blog. There are days when a particular blogger continuously liked my post then he’ll be gone. Then someone new comes along, stay a bit, and then gone.

I am not demanding for fans and loyal followers but it made me realize and reflect on things. We usually like, comment, and follow something that gives us something in return like feelings of I like that too, that was smart, seriously?, or ditto to that. My mind is full of different ideas and my life usually goes on different transitions and lots of going and turning at some points.

I like having different people around here. It makes me feel like an explorer of the world that attracts different people with intelligent opinions and impeccable taste. Although it also shows I am not in a constant path, I moved around, and yes I am a nomad.
