- The last butter that I should not spread on my oven hot olive bread.
- The last bottle of cola that I should not dare open.
- The last oatmeal though looked healthy was just too much.
- The last brownie even if I give a compelling reason that I deserve it. (Movie Reference: Notting Hill)
- The last scoop of mashed potato topped with white sauce gravy that would do more harm than lovely chubby cheeks contributor.
- The last bar of Twix that I am heavily trying to unlearn not to like because you made me like it.
- The last lingering cheesy chip that I hold on too tightly but just enough not to crumble it.
I associate you to food that I fancy because no matter how hard I deny it, you are the current #EyeCandy of my beating heart.

I can never get enough of beautiful cooking shows especially if it offers something pretty. Meet Rachel Khoo, a British who I first saw cooking in France and another when she’s back in England.

I love her! She is handling food delicately and she’s putting modern twist on regular dish. Her salad looks really festive and classy. Her desserts looked divine and delicious. Everything she prepares seemed easy and absolutely doable at home.

She also shops and dine to try other food. She also cook with other chefs.

Her smile and passion for food are infectious. Such a delight to watch! 🙂

This delicious bun from PappaRoti is a definite winner for breakfast giving a real Good Morning!
The bun was ridiculously amazing. It is perfectly crisp on the outside, a real softly fluffy in the inside, a hidden subtle butter awaits at the center, and beautifully drizzled with a choice from chocolate, honey, etc. The wooden platter is cozy pretty too. ♥ 🙂

My sister who just moved in Australia and living with a Filipino family said that whenever she cooks for the new home, the family noticed that she cooks very Chinese.
My siblings and I grew up in the Philippines with both Filipino and Chinese cultures and foods; but I guess we are more into our small eyes heritage way of chow.
What Chinese food do I love?
- Noodles and they are good for chopsticks too.
- Spring Rolls either meat or vegetable fillings I love them all. It is definitely my favorite foods in the world.
- Fried rice! I love all of them. I think this is the happiest Chinese rice ever!
- Peking Duck with whatever sauce on the side, please. I like the crispy skin, a good replacement for lechon (roasted pig) while I am here in Dubai.
- Ambe (rice porridge) sprinkled with balu (crispy – boiled, pan-fried, and sun-dried pork meat), scallions, crispy garlic, peanuts, and with the freshly dropped egg while the porridge is hot.
- Century Egg, they are not really a hundred-year-old egg but they are boiled and they come in chic black color! It is umami tasty as the Japanese describe the fifth type of taste.
- Sio Mai and Dim Sum especially when dipped with soy sauce.
- Sauteed vegetables with oyster sauce and garlic.
- Steamed fish with amazing sauce and chopped ginger and scallions.
- Fortune Cookies and am not just after the wordings of the wisdom inside. (Although, technically this was invented in San Francisco, USA.)
Making the list above was a breeze, I really love Chinese food!
😉 ♥

I’ve been craving for Ceviche so we visited El Chico at The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residences, Dubai, hoping that it serves me a fix. Disappointingly they did not have Ceviche in their menu but surprisingly the experience was amazing and will surely get me to go back.

Ambiance: Excellent. I love multi-colored banting style light bulbs that are not too bright but enough to add drama even during brunch. I am also always in love with brick walls and restaurants with couches so liked it. ♥

I love the food. The seasoning was perfect! It easily convinced me that I will learn to love Mexican food. From Guacamole, Burritos, Broccoli Soup, and their ways of cooking chicken. ♥

The service was not perfect but it was pleasingly all right.

I had salmon for lunch and dinner from two different restaurants. Is it too much?
I liked smoked salmon, thinly sliced, and it is simply divine with cream cheese and capers.
I got to watch my weight.

Amazing how grains of salt make significant change to a dish. It is so important that it transforms and binds all the different ingredients into one.
It is like saying life wouldn’t be complete without God.
It is considering that life without love is blunt.
We should strive to be a salt in the middle of our chaotic challenges in life. Let us strive to be so great that we become indispensable all because of our very existence. Let us produce magnificent work out of love. Lets be salt to the world.

My sisters and I dine at a Lebanese restaurant in Dubai Media City on June 13th, 2013. The food was not spectacular but all the plates and serving platters served were very round and curvy.

Threw a party recently with a very tame list of drinks in a cool black shinny board sign.
