[1: 1,697 of 10,000] I Finally Got My Book!!!

In Journal on March 20, 2016 at 9:37 PM

Now that I’m a grown up, I do believe that nothing is a coincidence, things are meant to be.

I downloaded the eBook for “A Course In Miracles” online but I get lost with the order of contents so I decided it’s time to purchase a printed book from US and have it delivered to Dubai. I supplied my complete address but for some odd reason, it didn’t reach me and no one even bothered to call me from the courier company.

I couldn’t believe that the book will not reach me so I took things on my own hands, I set-up my own pick-up. After several coordination and sassy one comment, I got my book today! It made me truly smile because I know that after reading this book, something in me will change  and I hope the change is for the better.

My plan is to read the text of the book and by June 1st I am going to do the course. 🙂 I am so grateful. If you’re not familiar about this particular book, it was said that it was dictated by Jesus Himself to Helen Schucman and right now I do believe it. I am very interested to read Jesus’ words in plain English language circa mid 1970s. I adored Marianne Williamson who was a student of this course and to read it myself is truly exciting.

[1: 1,638 of 10,000] If There’s Only One Prayer I Need To Learn

In Prayer on November 1, 2015 at 5:51 AM

ShowIf there’s only one prayer that I need to learn, may it be to say “thank you for all the beautiful and challenging matters that are going on in my life,” because then I amplify what’s good and I’ll be given the courage to face what’s not easy.

I was so used of not understanding the power of “thank you” but now I know that it helps even better to make everything looks beautiful, breezy, and absolutely delightful for every surprise that pops up.

I love books and finances are tight that I just couldn’t splurge spending, not right now, and what the universe sees as a solution is sending different people who are even located in different countries to send me books to read. How kind and generous is the God who sees my deepest desires and answers them in His most amazing ways.

I will never understand everything, His majestic plan, but every once in awhile, He lets me see a glimpse and it’s magnificent and I feel all right despite the odds that I have to conquer.

Dear God,

Thank you God for yet another beginning of the month where I know you would be there supporting me with my endeavours. Thank you that I am able to stand tall and with energy to keep moving forward. Thank you for the strength that you continue to bestow upon me to overcome my inner resistance.

Thank you that you allow me to serve you…

What would you have me do?

Where would you have me go?

What would you have me say and to whom?

I am sorry whenever I get lost of my path. I am sorry that I couldn’t control my ego that demands an audience. I am sorry I get a little mad because I get defeated by my fears to start and finish.

I need you God. Only with your love that I feel comforted. With your peace and blessings that my works are anointed. Bless me that today I will remain calm and accomplish great works to honor you, to honor the gifts that you’ve given me, and to honor you through the people that I serve.

This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

[1: 1,572 of 10,000] God’s Love Is Beautiful

In Journal on August 28, 2015 at 8:13 PM

God’s love is beautiful. I hope everybody in the world could see that and take refuge on the love which we are made of, that love which he gave. With that love, we can always use to connect with him anytime.

In him everything is peaceful even when there might be storm. With my crowded and noisy confusions, I trust him, I confide in him. Storms stop, it don’t go on forever, and as I’ve said despite the storm there is peace, I can find peace within with his love.

“Through prayer love is received, and through miracles love is expressed.” – A Course In Miracles

The world is a great place. We can make it great. I shall continue to pray for wisdom especially on how I think, understand my feelings, and move forward in sharing myself for the betterment of others. I shall continue to learn and keep trying new things with better result. It’s always a beautiful life here on Earth.

I shall remain at peace and grow. I shall be happy and kind. I shall be willing and moving.

Thank you God for the love.

[1: 1,558 of 10,000] The Law of Divine Compensation By Marianne Williamson

In Review on August 14, 2015 at 11:59 PM

The best way to finish a book is when you have about 5 hours to spare at the bookstore and read for free. I am grateful that The Dubai Mall has Kinokuniya, which is my favourite place to read. For this post, I’ve also listened to the interview done by The Moore Show wherein the book was discussed.

My favourite take-away from the book may be summed up with the following beautiful quotes –

  1. Spiritual growth involves giving up the stories of your past so the universe can write a new one.
  2. Nothing binds you except your thoughts; nothing limits you except your fear; and nothing controls you except your beliefs.
  3. There are four rules for miraculous work creation: Be positive. Send love. Have fun. Kick ass. A miracle is a shift in perception from fear to love—from a belief in what is not real, to faith in that which is. That shift in perception changes everything.
  4. Each of us has a unique part to play in the healing of the world.
  5. You are loved, and your purpose is to love.
  6. To whatever extent your mind is aligned with love, you will receive divine compensation for any lack in your material existence. From spiritual substance will come material manifestation. This is not just a theory; it is a fact. It is a law by which the universe operates. I call it the Law of Divine Compensation.
  7. From a mind filled with infinite love comes the power to create infinite possibilities. We have the power to think in ways that reflect and attract all the love in the world. Such thinking is called enlightenment. Enlightenment is not a process we work toward, but a choice available to us in any instant.
  8. Love makes us wake up in the morning with a sense of purpose and a flow of creative ideas. Love floods our nervous system with positive energy, making us far more attractive to prospective employers, clients, and creative partners. Love fills us with powerful charisma, enabling us to produce new ideas and new projects, even within circumstances that seem to be limited. Love leads us to atone for our errors and clean up the mess when we’ve made mistakes. Love leads us to act with impeccability, integrity, and excellence. Love leads us to serve, to forgive, and to hope. Those things are the opposite of a poverty consciousness; they’re the stuff of spiritual wealth creation.
  9. We lack faith in *what* exists within us because we lack faith in *Who* exists within us.
  10. God has given you your identity, and that cannot be taken away. God has imbued you with infinite potential, and that cannot be taken away. God has provided you with the opportunity to change your thinking in an instant, and that cannot be taken away. God has given you the capacity to love, and that cannot be taken away. God has entrusted you with the power to live in the light of His abundance in any moment, and that cannot be taken away.

Selected quotes were taken from GoodReads.com.

It is beautiful to live in the world when we know we are highly involved in being part of the abundant miracles available to us. It takes having faith of God’s love, our capacity to love and be of service, exercise a positive attitude, and being able to have fun and kick ass.
