[1: 952 of 10,000] I Love Instagram

In Review on March 8, 2013 at 9:50 AM

I love this application of all the applications.

It’s not really that part where I share but the part where I see what other people share.

The photos looked very creative and crisp from all over the world.

The funny part is when I looked at magazine, I want to double tap to ♥ it.

I can stay up late just looking and be inspired with beautiful photos.

As I let my feet kiss the sands

And the sun embraced me with its warmth

I consider Dubai my Home right now.

Dubai is never complete without the iconic 7-star Hotel Burj Al Arab that was designed like a sailboat.

Love the illumination of these cute ginger bread houses displayed at Amman Marriott Hotel. Tempting to eat them!

Ginger Bread Houses

I love the work of art. It shows that it was given much thought, care, and creativity. This made me glad during the holiday and I am missing Christmas and New Year, thank God I’m Chinese so I have something to look forward to early this year.

[1: 896 of 10,000] Handy Camera – Sony DSC-HX20V

In Review on January 12, 2013 at 10:23 AM

Thanks to my shopaholic sissy, she insisted that we get ourselves a new digital camera for the last family trip and the one that suits our budget is a Sony DSC-HX20V. It has 18.2 mega pixels (love that!) and loaded with different effects. We are pretty comfortable with the brand too, we trust Sony! Even if our last Sony camera doesn’t work anymore, we blame dropping it several times and it’s probably due to old age – about 2 years.

Photography Blog has a complete review with the gadget if you are interested with the technical stuffs and everything else.

We are far from being a professional photographer but having a handy camera that could give vibrant photos surely made the after trip feeling amazing especially when we go back to all the photos, which is pretty impressive with such less blurry takes. The photo below is one of my favorites because I love the colors gray and red, which was taken from Kempinski Aqaba Hotel’s lobby. It was the day that we are flying out from Jordan and back to Dubai.

Petra's Treasures

I consider this photo taken from Petra as delicate because the archeologists give so much care in finding and revealing the old civilization of the Nabateans. The man at the right was playing an old instrument with a hymn of the past. I didn’t understood the lyrics but I appreciate the reenactment.

I also learned to appreciate black and white photo because it has attitude and a very classy impression.

The Dream

It is nice to take photos of beautiful places because you want to remember it but when the day comes that you can simply go back to that magnificent place anytime or better yet you wake up everyday with it – taking photos wouldn’t be necessary and you can simply breathe in and out while relaxing and chilling.
