[1: 1,567 of 10,000] Moved

In Poem on August 23, 2015 at 1:25 PM

So you’re moved by an idea

By an individual

Or an organization

It even made you tear up

Oh wait, sob even

Now what?

Will you act on it?

Will you share the story?

How will you help?

Can you persuade anyone to support it?

Yeah, being moved is something

It makes you feel human

To feel uncomfortable

Cringe

But seriously though

Now what?

You got to try

You got to do something

Complement the feeling

Make it sparks in your tribe

Go on

Dig deeper

Be creative

Help.

[1: 803 of 10,000] French At Heart? Oui!

In Journal on October 16, 2012 at 10:07 PM

Interesting fact that I read from Odiletouslesjours about La France – “Don’t ask for Ice in a French Restaurant.”

I like my water room temperature. I could blend in well at the Eiffel Tower world.

The funny part is I should not forget not to say, “Room temperature water please.” 😀 I should play it cool and just drink what is in front of me or hell why would I change who I am. I am a tourist and so what.

I’ve been so tired lately I enjoy drinking water. This is a shot of my glass of water while doing this blog. I don’t fill it full because I feel overwhelmed. I feel triumphant when I finish it until the last drop.

[1: 766 of 10,000] I’m Not a Perrier Lass

In Article on September 19, 2012 at 9:27 PM

My mum used to say my daughter can wear cheap clothes and make everyone believed it is a high class brand. I can’t do that with the sparkling water, no matter what I do, I can’t bring my taste buds to like Perrier.

The likes of The Anna Wintour holds it like a simple plastic bottled water. European people who I always think has so much refinement prefers it especially during serious business meeting. I like my water still, I like it not Perrier.

What actually saddens me is I will never have the luxury to obey my urge to buy this ridiculous pretty packaging to admire because I can’t drink it. The royal status does cross my mind but the integrity of being able to consume it weigh more.

This is our water dispenser at home. It’s cute. We didn’t get the one with Hot & Cold not just because we are saving electricity but we do drink our water at room temperature. We do make ice cubes though for our home-made well ingredient-filled iced tea. ♥
